The meaning of the word Astitva in Samskrutam language can be considered as existence or entity; but the word Astitvam has been coined, innovatively. The name Astitvam is derived from the combination of the Hindi word “Astitva” and the spiritual sound “Aum” or “Om”. “Astitva” means existence or presence, and “Aum”, which is a divine sound resonant in the universe, and at the same time, it is a complete mantra which is recited before every religious act and Yagya Worship. In April 2021, International Conceptual Artist Vivek Chandra Bisht experienced the presence of that divine energy in the universe during his spiritual journey to the divine temples located in the state of Uttarakhand, India. He shared his ecstatic experience with his fellow members, Mohit Lohani, Sandeep Bisht, and Navneet Pandey. The incident of sacred rain of that supernatural energy inspired all those members to spread the message of spirituality and equality. Astitivam Gallery was technically established in 2021, with the idea of spreading spiritual awareness internationally, through various art categories.
